In 2013 five French musicians come together over a calypso cover band. Touched to the core by this long ignored Trinidadian repertoire, they embrace this musical treasure from a whole different time and place. But Commandant Coustou’s crew soon sails to other Caribbean horizons: Cuban son, Haitian troubadours... and original compositions from their own fictional archipelago : the Magnetic Islands.
